Artist's Description

Nun has the numerical value of 50 and is related to an Aramaic word for fish. Fishes reproduce quickly, and symbolize fertility and productiveness. Nun shares a Hebrew root with words that mean decline and degeneration. Nun embodies the transformation through birth, growth and decline.
As the number 50 Nun is related to the Jubilee year in the Hebrew calendar. It is when slaves are freed, debts are forgiven and land returns to its original owner.
When Nun comes into your life, you are entering a transformational period of freedom and liberation. Notice how one level of reality dies as another is born and let go!
