Artist's Description

Kuf has the numerical value of 100, which is the completion of a cycle. It begins the Hebrew word Kadosh, which means holy. It begins the word Korban meaning sacrifice in Hebrew. Kabbalah, which means “to receive”, starts with Kuf.
The shape of Kuf is broken, and one of its parts descends below the writing line. It symbolizes Holiness in the midst of brokenness. It teaches us to find holiness right here in our daily lives.
